Buying a Telegram API ID: what to check before paying

Distinguish API application assistance, shared credentials, bot tokens and Telegram accounts. Discuss your requirements and delivery with GetTGAPI support first.

Quick answer: “Buying a Telegram API ID” may mean application assistance, someone else's shared credentials, a bot token or an account. GetTGAPI helps apply for or retrieve your own application credentials; it does not sell Telegram accounts. Discuss suitability with support before paying.

Contact gettgapi.com/en/help#contact. Explain the fields your tool requests, how far you reached in the portal and the exact error, rather than only asking to “buy an API.”

apiid, appid and “API account” can mean different things

apiid, api_id and API ID commonly refer to the application identifier. Some people call it appid, but that name in another product may mean something else. “API account” can also confuse application credentials with an authorized user session.

Actual requirement Delivery to clarify Included in GetTGAPI's web service?
Your developer application credentials Its API ID and API Hash Application or retrieval assistance
A shared API pair Ownership and suitability for your development Shared credentials are not sold
Bot credentials A Bot Token managed through BotFather Does not replace BotFather
A Telegram account or signed-in session Account control, devices and session files Not included
Client registration or login SMS The client authorization flow Outside the web API application service

A tool asking for tdata, session or a QR sign-in is not automatically satisfied by buying ID and Hash. Application credentials and user authorization are separate steps. Official authorization documentation

Why pay for assistance if the API is free?

Telegram provides its developer API. GetTGAPI charges a separate assistance fee, currently CNY 5 per use on the website; check pricing. This is not a Telegram API activation charge or a Premium purchase.

If the official portal works for you, apply directly. If you encounter ERROR or want help checking the process, discuss the scope first rather than buying because an unexplained alert appeared.

Four things to confirm with support

  1. Purpose: Does the tool require api_id and api_hash, rather than a Token or session? Share field names, not secrets.
  2. Account readiness: Can you access the existing account's portal confirmation messages, or are you still registering? This service does not receive registration SMS for you.
  3. Progress: Have you never applied, previously obtained credentials, or submitted Create with an unknown outcome? Check that uncertain result first.
  4. Delivery and exceptions: Where will results appear, how should you save them, when is a use consumed, and where should you follow up?

Ask for evidence behind promises of instant acceptance for every number or payment removing all restrictions. GetTGAPI also depends on the portal's actual response and cannot guarantee approval for every account.

What happens after contacting GetTGAPI?

Open the support bot through our contact page and describe your need in the same conversation. Discuss scope, payment and an access code with support. Do not send Telegram confirmation codes, two-step passwords or API Hash in chat.

After obtaining an access code, verify it at gettgapi.com/en/redeem, then continue with your number and portal code. The default app details generally need no changes. The completed workflow displays ID and Hash. See the full GetTGAPI tutorial.

How do I check the delivery?

Check that you have both ID and Hash, associated with the number and application you used. One number, an access code or a “submitted” status is not a complete delivery.

You can verify through your own official portal session without sending complete credentials to a stranger for inspection. Save them before confirming removal of our temporary copy. Removing that copy does not delete the official application. See result checks and saving and deletion.

If you forgot an old result, look up the existing app first. If credentials are complete but software fails, investigate configuration before paying for another application.
