This guide walks through applying for Telegram API credentials at GetTGAPI (gettgapi.com). The video lasts about a minute and uses a fictional UK number and example data. Actual processing time depends on the progress shown on your application page. You need an existing TG account you are authorized to use and access to its developer portal verification messages.

Step 1: Contact support for an access code
Open gettgapi.com and select Contact support at the lower right. This opens the website's dedicated support bot. Start the bot or send /start to see the instructions and payment QR code. Tell support how many applications you need.
Website assistance currently costs CNY 5 / application. Pay using the WeChat appreciation QR code, then tell support in the same chat. Wait for manual payment verification and your access code; a payment message does not issue a code automatically. Skip this step if you already have one. Pricing and service scope
An access code unlocks this website's service. It is different from a verification code sent by TG. Contact support for purchases or access code questions. Do not send verification codes, two-step verification passwords or API Hash to support. Support is Chinese-speaking.
Step 2: Enter your access code
Select Start application to open the access code page. Paste the complete access code and submit it. Once accepted, you can enter a phone number and complete verification.
Your code must have available uses. A code with no uses left, or a disabled code, cannot start another application; the page will explain the issue. One access code may contain multiple uses, so you do not need a separate code for each number. Access code uses and statuses
Step 3: Enter your number and keep the default application details
Enter your phone number including the country code. The video uses +44 7700 900123 as a fictional UK number; use your own number when applying. The form removes spaces and adds a leading + if missing. Do not enter brackets, hyphens or other non-digit characters.
Application details normally need no changes; we recommend keeping the defaults. They are expanded so you can review them. Change them only if your specific use requires it. Confirm you are authorized to use the number, then submit.
GetTGAPI verifies the number through Telegram's developer portal. It does not require your two-step verification password, add a Telegram client device session or read your chats. This flow obtains API credentials for an existing TG account; it does not register a new one.
Step 4: Find and enter the developer portal code
Open the Telegram account that matches the submitted number. Look for the official confirmation message for this my.telegram.org request. This is a developer portal code, not an SMS or a code for signing in on another device.
Enter the current code on the website and follow the account's progress. Avoid requesting codes repeatedly from several pages. Do not share the code with support or anyone else.
If it has not arrived, check the country code, phone number and TG account you are viewing. Follow the code-not-received guide. For ERROR messages, identify the failing stage first. If manual review is shown, follow the available instructions to request another code or contact support instead of repeatedly creating applications.
Step 5: Wait for your ID and Hash
After verification, the page continues processing and updates the progress. It retrieves the existing application if one is present, or attempts to create one otherwise. Wait for the result to be verified, then copy your ID and Hash.
Starting an application reserves one use. A verified successful result consumes it; a confirmed failure or safe cancellation releases the reservation. When an outcome is still being checked, rely on the page status. Refreshing does not establish that it failed. Waiting scenes in the video are shortened to demonstrate the sequence; there is no fixed completion-time promise.
Step 6: Save your credentials, then confirm deletion
After copying, paste the ID and Hash into a secure location you control. Check that both values are complete. Then confirm deletion in the copy dialog to clear the platform's temporary result. Do not confirm deletion before checking your saved copy.
The corresponding result is removed from the application page, and the platform does not offer historical retrieval. The page returns home when there are no records left to display. Deleting the temporary copy does not revoke the API on Telegram or refund a successfully consumed use. See the saving and deletion guide for details.
