Quick answer: Look for the portal code in the matching TG account. A successful send response does not prove delivery to you. GetTGAPI can check the application state and next step, but cannot receive the code for you or guarantee immediate upstream delivery.

Identify the verification flow
Our page requires a developer portal code, not an access code or a client login code requested by another app. Enter it only on the application page, never in support.
If multiple browsers or devices are requesting codes, stop the other attempts and keep one active application. Different requests may have different codes.
Check the number and current account
Check the full country code and phone number. We remove spaces and add + when missing, but you must still supply the correct country code.
Open Telegram and switch to that exact account. With multiple accounts in one client, it is easy to wait in the wrong inbox. Do not mix codes between accounts.
Check messages in Telegram
The official portal says it sends codes through Telegram, not SMS. No notification does not mean no message: open the client directly. Official portal
When applying yourself, confirm you are still on my.telegram.org. Do not try the code on an unknown page found in search.
Read the application status
- Enter verification code: keep the page open and check that account's messages.
- Waiting to retry / Processing: let the platform continue; do not create another record for the number.
- Verification required again: follow the new prompt and use the code for that request.
- Awaiting manual review: ask support to check the status.
We retry automatically only when appropriate, such as a failed or uncertain send response. Once the portal explicitly reports a successful send, we cannot read your messages to check receipt and do not continuously resend.
Still no code?
Tell support the approximate time, page status and whether you can open the matching Telegram account. Mask full numbers, access codes and verification codes in screenshots.
Support cannot promise immediate delivery and never needs your two-step password. If a limit appears, stop repeated refreshes, device switches and new requests. Application statuses
