Quick answer: Stop repeated requests and follow the current waiting message. A generic error does not establish one universal recovery time. Tell GetTGAPI support the stage so it can check existing records and next steps.

Stop repeated attempts
For Too many tries, Please try again later or excessive-request messages, stop code sending and verification in other tabs, devices and tools. Preserve the current record.
Waiting does not mean continuously clicking until success. Follow an explicit retry time. Without one, do not assume guaranteed recovery in 30 minutes or 24 hours. Our countdown is not Telegram's promise to lift a restriction.
Identify the flow
- Developer portal sending or verification: handle the current number's my.telegram.org verification.
- FLOOD_WAIT with a number in third-party software: the calling software must honor that API wait. See FLOOD_WAIT.
- Too many GetTGAPI access-code attempts: this protects our website entrance; it is not a verdict on Telegram app creation.
Telegram documents API rate limits and wait seconds, but this does not establish one recovery time for every web portal message. Official errors
Checks while waiting
Confirm the country code, currently open Telegram account and whether another tool keeps requesting codes. None of these requires another portal request.
If Create was already submitted, you may read the existing app in a valid session. Do not repeatedly sign in just to check; if the app page is unavailable, wait for verification to recover first.
Do not replace your verification with another person's account, codes or public credentials, or treat rotating addresses and repeated requests as a way to lift limits.
How GetTGAPI retries
Applicable failed or uncertain sends receive bounded retries. Upstream waiting requirements are respected. A successful send response makes us wait for your code rather than resend continuously to guess whether it arrived.
Keep the original record while waiting. If manual help is requested, provide the time and masked error text.
After recovery
Complete one normal portal verification and check for existing credentials. A new code only establishes that verification can proceed, not that the application is finished.
Ask support or apply with your code. Assisted applications follow Telegram's limits too and cannot remove the wait early.
