Why verify the number?
Obtaining app details requires verifying authority over the account. The official portal requests an international-format number and sends its code through Telegram, not SMS. Official login
You must still read your current portal code in your own account. Support explains steps and checks state; it cannot receive messages for you or substitute payment for verification.

Read the verification message's purpose and match it to your action. Do not provide a different login code merely because a page or person says verification code.
Client authorization is a separate process. Its potential two-step requirement does not establish a requirement for our portal flow.
Device sessions and chat access
Our current website application flow does not sign into a Telegram client, add a client device session or call chat-reading functions. It uses your initiated portal verification to read or create app details. Later authorizing third-party software with the delivered credentials is a separate action.
This does not mean no data is processed. The service processes your number, portal context and temporary result to perform its function. See Privacy for retention and deletion.
If a client login notification does not match your action, stop entering its code. Tell support the notification type, without forwarding the complete message containing the code.
What to send support
Send exact error wording, stage, time and masked screenshots. The support template helps keep the facts together.
Do not send two-step passwords, verification codes, cookies, client session files or complete Hash. Support can explain the flow and handle orders or access-code problems without these secrets. The website bot is not a portal-code submission channel.
What deletion clears
Save ID and Hash somewhere you control, then confirm deletion. This clears our temporary delivery copy, not Telegram's app, your devices or third-party tool copies.
