Quick answer: Extensions are one possible investigation path for a Telegram API ERROR, not a diagnosis. If you already submitted Create, check for a result first. If investigation is still necessary, compare one browser factor at a time.
If several browsers have already failed, contact GetTGAPI support with the stage where it happens rather than randomly changing environments again.
Why do some reports say disabling AdBlock helped?
Search results include individual reports of success after adjusting an ad blocker. That suggests checking browser differences; it does not prove AdBlock caused every ERROR. Original question and responses
Extensions may have permission to read or change site content. Ad filtering, translation, scripting and autofill are categories worth inspecting, but being installed does not mean an extension is interfering. Chrome exposes site-access permissions and whether an extension may run in Incognito. Chrome extension management
First rule out an unnecessary repeat application
If you clicked Create application, check API development tools for the same account even if an ERROR appeared. Save an existing ID and Hash instead of creating again to test a theory.
If Too many tries appears, follow waiting guidance. Do not switch browsers to continue requesting codes. These checks compare page behavior, not bypass request limits.
Check one factor at a time in Chrome
- Record the symptom. Is the button unresponsive, translated text misplaced, verification returning to phone entry, or a submission showing ERROR? Note whether Create was submitted.
- Inspect actual extension access. Open Extensions → Manage extensions, then the relevant extension's details. Review site access without granting unfamiliar extensions additional permissions.
- Make a limited comparison. If translation altered the form, pause that extension's processing for
my.telegram.orgonly. If investigating an ad filter, check for a temporary site-only exception. Record the setting and restore it afterwards. Do not disable everything together. - Keep the other conditions consistent. Use the same number, app details and network. Observe the current stage. If verification is required again, use its current portal code; do not request codes in several windows simultaneously.
- Stop when the outcome is clear. Save readable app credentials. If the error remains, record that this comparison did not help rather than repeatedly toggling settings and submitting Create.
There is no need to disable system protection, Safe Browsing or certificate checks, or install an “application unlock” extension. Investigate the domain and connection if the browser displays a security warning.
Why can Incognito behave differently?
Chrome Incognito uses a separate browsing session without automatically carrying over normal-window website sign-ins. Its temporary site data is removed when all Incognito windows close. It may help compare session environments when no application is in progress; it does not prove an account or network restriction has been removed. Chrome Incognito documentation
Normal-mode failure followed by Incognito success does not identify AdBlock by itself. Session state and extension permissions may both differ. Extensions allowed in Incognito can still run there, so inspect the actual settings. Incognito should not be treated as an automatic IP-changing tool.
Interpret the comparison carefully
| Observation | Reasonable interpretation | Unsupported conclusion |
|---|---|---|
| Fields display correctly after page translation stops | That processing affected the presentation | Telegram approved creation |
| The current step works without one extension processing the site | Keep a record of that difference | Everyone should permanently disable it |
| Incognito works but a normal window does not | The session environments differ | The cause must be IP or account age |
| Multiple browsers show the same ERROR | Switching browsers did not resolve this attempt | Keep trying more browsers |
| The page displays ID and Hash | Credentials are available | Submit again to confirm a theory |
This table interprets observations; it is not a GetTGAPI success-rate study.
Still getting ERROR in another browser?
Follow the actual symptom: session problems for returns to phone entry, form details for field questions, and the object-string guide for [object Object]. For phone-only problems, see mobile versus desktop.
Avoid changing country code, app name, network and platform together in the hope of getting lucky. A clear error stage is more useful than a long list of uncontrolled attempts.
