Initialize the client after obtaining credentials

invokeWithLayer identifies the API layer, while initConnection describes the application and client environment. These accompany your API ID and Hash. Changing a device label does not grant capabilities reserved for an official client.

Consult Calling API Methods for initialization timing and wrapper ordering. Concurrent requests need not complete in submission order; dependent actions should wait for their prerequisite result.

Read limits from the appropriate source

help.getConfig and help.getAppConfig expose different configuration surfaces. The configuration reference also links machine-readable constants and push definitions. They are not all fields of a single RPC response.

Our implementation recommendation is to record the retrieval time, account scope and client version, tolerate unknown fields, and distinguish server configuration from local defaults. A failed configuration fetch is not permission to increase sending or upload limits.

Upgrade against a consistent version

Use the layer changelog to identify changed methods and fields. Keep schema, serialization code, libraries and fixtures on a consistent baseline. Verify authorization, incoming updates and file transfer before enabling new features.

GetTGAPI assists with credential applications; it does not replace the client protocol. Start with the API application guide if credentials are missing.
