Verification needs an identifiable issuer
Third-party verification comes from approved services and their bots, with issuer information. A custom emoji or a checkmark in a name is not verification evidence. Explain who issued a badge.
Apply the current platform’s restrictions
Restriction reasons and configuration determine the required handling. Some sensitive content can require a dedicated age-verification flow; completing it does not remove unrelated restrictions.
Implementation recommendations
Show the reason and the legitimate next step. Do not fabricate verification state or substitute a locally entered birthday for an official result. Explain the source of verification pages and respect device permission requirements. Leave unsupported badge claims absent rather than inventing authoritative-looking indicators.
