The state chain tracks participants and keys
Here, blockchain means a distributed call-state ledger, not a cryptocurrency payment network. Blocks contain a previous hash, height, changes, signature and state proof, and apply atomically. Changes affect values, permissions or shared keys; an earlier change can alter permissions for later changes in the same block.
Media encryption and identity checks serve different purposes
Media frames are encrypted and signed, with sequence numbers for replay protection. Shared keys are encrypted individually for participants. Participants unable to decrypt must not continue the verification process.
Emoji verification uses commitment and reveal to introduce unpredictable input. The source explicitly describes reliance on participants checking matching emoji; the presence of a chain does not remove that step or establish permanent identity authentication.
Research recommendations
Read the complete documents, schema and tests before changing the protocol. Keep participant state, key state and UI consistent. Treat decryption failures, forks and invalid signatures as failures rather than silently continuing. Download the source and license from the source panel; this is not a shortened production-ready cryptographic implementation.
